Warning! If you are thinking about donating to the American Heart Association, you might want to re-think that. Once you donate to them, you are on their phone list for what appears to be the rest of your life. They will harass you with phone calls, sometimes multiple calls every day, sometimes after 9 PM or before 8 AM, and getting off their list is nearly impossible. Supposedly they took me off their list several months ago, but I continue to get telephone harassment from them or their agents. I regret ever donating to them.
There are many fine charitable organizations out there. You might want to eliminate American Heart from your list, and find another.
